Born in India, Dr. Rastogi moved to the United States at the age of 4 and was raised in Northern Virginia. He is married and has one daughter. In his free time, he enjoys tennis, traveling, technology, and spending time with family and friends.
Dr. Rastogi highly enjoys the art and the science of practicing pain management. He considered pain management as the perfect fit for him early in his medical career, as it embodies the essence of being a doctor - taking away pain. He understands the importance of multimodal pain management by treating all aspects of pain: physical and emotional.
Dr. Rastogi has lectured to the medical and patient community on various topics that include medical and interventional treatment of neuropathic limb. He completed research at The University of Virginia on analgesic effects of anticonvulsants. He has written many chapters on interventional spine procedures for professional textbooks. At the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Rastogi assisted in the creation of a pain education website and a drug conversion calculator for medical professionals.
