Dr. Nargund was born and raised in Meadville, PA. She was raised by parents who emigrated from India in the pursuit of higher education. They taught her the importance of education and perseverance and instilled in her the desire to choose a profession that would make a significant impact in people's lives. Through her college and medical school years, she came to feel that helping people with their pain and improving the quality of their life was the best contribution she could make. She is married and has a child.
Dr. Nargund specializes in back and neck pain syndromes. She has lectured to physicians, nurses, and to the general population in efforts to educate the community. She has provided lectures on osteoporotic compressions fractures, spinal cord stimulation, and the medical management of pain syndromes.
