Dr. Coleman was born and raised in Vestal, NY.  He is married and has two children.  While at Johns Hopkins Medical School, Dr. Coleman won distinction from the National Institutes of Health for research on the pharmacologic manipulation of nerve transmission.  He is a highly regarded member of the following professional organizations:
